Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival
One of the leading lights of the Massachusetts cultural scene, the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket entertains with a feast of ballet and contemporary dance every summer June through August. Located on a 161-acre campus, the dance school hosts dancers from around the world during the festival.
Becket Athenaeum
Founded in 1888 by the citizens of Becket, this library sits on Main Street. Its first location was a salon from which it moved to a resident’s home. The present building used to be the First Congregational Church.
Becket Arts Center of the Hilltowns
Organizes art exhibitions, theater and music workshops and lectures for art aficionados in the summer.
